“…an exploration of night’s bodies - stars, trees, people- and their intra-action/intra-permeation. How a change in ambient light might alter the perception of a body’s weight, and give way to recognizing a forest and a galaxy as both constellated. How one might feel the electrical activity of dreams coursing through the cold winter air and touch their remnants in a collection of bedsheets. And how my body, performing in a gallery, could dance through time with Sparks’ body, walking in the woods at the moment of inspiration that began the spiral process of bringing this installation to form. I call it a spiral process, because spiral movement both gathers in (centripetal force) and presses out (centrifugal force). Ideas pull together and push into the unknown.”
